DAY 1: Buenos Aires - Intro to Argentinean Wines
Check in at Hotel Madero, nestled in the chic and revitalized dockside district of Puerto Madero. To kick off our first evening, we'll be treated to a presentation of Argentinean wines by a certified sommelier, accompanied by a delectable food and wine pairing experience in the heart of the capital.

DAY 2: Buenos Aires city tour & Tango Experience
Embark on a captivating city tour of Buenos Aires, where every corner tells a story of rich history and vibrant culture. We will explore the charming streets of neighborhoods like San Telmo and La Boca, where colorful buildings and lively street art create a feast for the eyes. We will have lunch at Fogon asado (1 star Michelin) and some time for shopping! In the evening, we will dive into the world of Tango with a captivating show and a delicious classic Argentinean dinner. Before the show, we will get a Tango class. It will be up to you to stay for the Milonga.

DAY 3: Colonia del Sacramento Uruguay
This morning, we will embark on a ferry across the Rio de la Plata to the little village of Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay. Following a guided tour of this UNESCO-protected site, we will hop on a bus to an emblematic Finca for a tour, wine tasting, lunch and fun local activities. As the day draws to a close, we will return to Buenos Aires via ferry after a fulfilling journey.

DAY 4: Salta - Quebrada de las Conchas
This morning, we will board a flight to Salta capital, then journey by minibus to Cafayate. En route, we will pause for a hike, soaking in the breathtaking mountain vistas of Quebrada de la Concha and Garganta del Diablo. As the sun sets, we will explore Finca las Nubes, touring the winery and indulging in a tasting session. Later, we will savor a dinner featuring local dishes, all while taking in the magnificent views of Cafayate and its surrounding splendor.

DAY 5: Cafayate
Today we will journey to Bodega Piatelli for a thrilling 4x4 experience into the desert in quest of their hidden vineyard nestled among the mountains – a true oasis. We will explore the vineyards and winery and learn more about high-altitude viticulture. We will have dinner in town at the hotel.

DAY 6: Cafayate
After a relaxed morning on your own exploring the town of Cafayate, we will pursue our wine education with a visit to Yacotchua, the most iconic winery of Cafayate for a full on experience visit of the vineyards, luncheon and tasting at the winery. In the evening, we will enjoy a delicious dinner in a local restaurant.

DAY 7: Mendoza
This morning, we bid farewell to the desert as we make our way to Mendoza. Upon arrival, we will check in at the Park Hyatt in downtown Mendoza before embarking on a visit to Bodega Caro, the region's oldest winery. Afterwards, we will indulge in a sumptuous feast at Francis Mallmann's renowned restaurant, a must-visit destination in Mendoza.

Day 8: Mendoza
You will have the morning free to explore the city of Mendoza, strolling through its squares and experiencing the beauty of General San Martín Park. In the afternoon, I will take you on a nostalgic journey as we visit Viña Cobos, the winery where I once worked (at the time it was under construction). Afterward, we will head to Finca Cobos for an unforgettable evening with my friends, owners, and winemakers: Luis Barraud and Andrea Marchiori. We will take a stroll through the vineyard and sample some wines. Later, we will join chef Franco Malasisa for an immersive experience in Argentinean cuisine. We will cook alongside him before indulging in a fabulous feast, Argentinean style!

Day 9: Mendoza
After breakfast, we will journey to the Andes and enjoy the beautiful scenic drive to he Quebrada del Condor. Upon arrival, we each will select from an activity: horseback riding, hiking, or fly fishing. Later on, we will savor a traditional "criollo lunch" in the mountain. After lunch, we will make our way to a charming Estancia in the up-and-coming area of Las Carreras. There we will taste some acclaimed wines from the AVA to continue our Argentinean wine education.

Day 10: Mendoza - Uco Valley
Today, we will journey to some of the Uco Valley's most iconic wineries for first-class tastings. From Zuccardi top notch facility to Salentein, Claroscuro and more, we will savor a diverse array of wines. After a bustling day of tasting, we will gather for a farewell party at a well-known rooftop downtown Mendoza, just a stone's throw from our hotel. It's a perfect opportunity to soak in the sunset over Mendoza from a different perspective.

Day 11: Mendoza
After breakfast, we will say good bye. Some of you might want to stay a few more days for Fiesta de La Vendimia.

The price for the Argentinean inland trip is:
$8,610 per person for club members registrating for both Antarctica and Argentina trip.
$9,110 for club members hoping to register for only the Argentina Inland trip
$9,610 for non club members (You need to be a club member and have receive at least one shipment at the time of reservation)
Priority reservation to members who want to join both trips to Antarctica and Argentina until March 31.
If you are interested in only one of the two, please clarify on the sign-up sheet. You will receive a confirmation in April.
A deposit of $2,000 per person is required upon reservation and 3 other payments on July 1, October 1 and final payment on December 1, 2024.
A small surcharge may be added, closer to the trip date, in case of major inflation in Argentina.
