My name is Claire Ducrocq Weinkauf. I am a French native and proud dual citizen of the United States. I am the owner and winemaker of Picayune Cellars. My tasting room and mercantile store are located in Calistoga, CA – in the Napa Valley.
Back in 2017, my first club members started asking me to take them to visit France. At first, I thought it was crazy, but when I started thinking about it, I became inspired. The first trip happened in 2018 in Sancerre, we had a fabulous time. It was really special for me to share my country and all the things I love. Since then I never looked back. I pick locations which excite me and I can give insights that one might not otherwise see.
The groups have been as small as 10 people on a catamaran in Corsica and up to 30 people on a super yacht in Croatia. Most of the time, it is 20 of us cruising on a barge in the French canals.
Our trips are very much a reflection of the lifestyle I champion. We visit villages, historic sites, food and wine producers. We play pétanque in the evening and enjoy local food and wine prepared by a trained chef. Le paradis!

This was our first time traveling with Claire de Lune Journeys and it won't be our last! We experienced and learned about wonderful wines, food and culture of Croatia in luxurious and relaxing fashion on our 158 ft. chartered yacht and top Croatian chef! A well-planned itinerary and the number of guests on board made it more intimate and possible to get to know and have fun with so many new friends (and we knew only Claire herself at the outset). Our anniversary was even celebrated on board! This was a trip of a lifetime! Claire's assistants, on-board crew, the pre-trip organization/zoom meetings, and regular communication left us feeling well-prepared for our travel!
